Region-locked game keys explained: Global, Europe and country keys

Many keys can only be activated on accounts from a specific region. Choosing the right region makes sure the key works on your account.
Global
A Global key can be activated from any country. It's the simplest choice if you're unsure.
Europe (EU)
Works on accounts from European countries. Some titles exclude specific countries: the product page says so.
Country keys
Wallet cards (PSN, Xbox, Nintendo) and some games only work on accounts from that country. A German PSN card can't be used on a UK account.
