How to activate a key in the EA App (formerly Origin)

EA PC games (EA Sports FC, Battlefield, The Sims…) are activated in the EA App, which replaced Origin.

Steps

  1. 1Download and install the EA App from ea.com and sign in with your EA account.
  2. 2Click the menu (≡) in the top-left corner.
  3. 3Select «Redeem code».
  4. 4Paste the key and click «Next».
  5. 5The game is added to your library, ready to install.

Tips & common issues

  • Some EA games are sold as Steam keys: check the platform on the product page.
  • FC Points codes are redeemed on the EA account linked to your platform.
  • If the key is invalid, make sure you didn't mix up the letter O and the number 0.
