How to redeem a PlayStation (PSN) code on PS5, PS4 and web

PlayStation Network codes have 12 characters (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) and only work on accounts from the same region as the code.

Steps

  1. 1PS5: open PlayStation Store → «…» icon → «Redeem Code».
  2. 2PS4: PlayStation Store → «Redeem Codes» in the side menu.
  3. 3Browser: go to store.playstation.com, sign in, click your avatar → «Redeem Code».
  4. 4Enter the 12 characters and confirm.
  5. 5The balance is added to your wallet or the content appears in your library.

Tips & common issues

  • A UK PSN card only works on a UK account; check the region before buying.
  • Wallet funds cannot be transferred between accounts.
  • If the code fails, wait a few minutes and retry before opening a ticket.
