What changed
Under the Xbox Free Play Days program, Xbox Game Pass subscribers gain temporary access to the title between October 29 and November 1 without needing an upfront purchase.
Players who decide to purchase the game retain the Gamerscore and achievements they earned during the event. Unlocked achievements stay tied to the account, so progress made during the free period carries over directly if players buy a copy.
WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers is a soulslike, action RPG set in the land of Shu during the dark and tumultuous late Ming Dynasty
Xbox Wire confirmed that both editions of the game and the Deluxe Upgrade DLC receive promotional discounts for players who purchase the title.
Which edition and platform fit which player
Selecting an edition depends on the hardware and registered account region. While the Free Play Days event takes place on Xbox for active Xbox Game Pass members, players on other systems can find digital options across the store catalog.
The game originally launched on July 24, 2025, in the action genre. For store shoppers, supported platforms include PlayStation and Steam, with listings available as standard digital keys or platform accounts. PC players on Steam can select standard listings or Steam account options, while console users on PlayStation can select standard listings or PlayStation 5 account options to match their setup.
Regional restrictions apply when selecting an edition. Store offerings include Global licenses alongside restricted options that exclude CIS, LATAM, Asia, AE, AL, IL, KW, MK, QA, RS, SA, and TR. Customers with accounts registered in supported global regions can activate Global keys without restrictions. Buyers in excluded territories must verify regional support or select Global licenses to complete activation.
The Deluxe Upgrade DLC is discounted during the promotional period alongside both editions. In the store, prices start at €33.56.
