What changed

The update focuses on technical performance across the compilation and improves how both included games run on modern console architecture.

"First, the Next-Gen Update transforms the experience of playing both games through a series of major performance improvements."

Xbox Wire reported that these technical upgrades include selectable 4K resolution options that increase image clarity on compatible displays.

The visual presentation also features improvements through updated image reconstruction and antialiasing technology.

According to Xbox Wire, the console update also adds tactile feedback support through the Xbox controller's Impulse Triggers during gameplay.
